About Me

Hello! Im Rebecca, 21 from south-west Wales. Im a lifestyle & beauty blogger who drinks too much coffee and is obsessed with Pinterest.

Five things to know about me

1. I am obsessed with hair and makeup- I always have been. I was always the friend who would play with your hair or paint your nails.

2. I am dog-crazy. I am lucky enough to have two little doggies and I love them to bits. I am the definition of crazy dog lady!

3. I am someone who use to be very negative but I try my hardest to be a positive Polly now because life is a lot nicer when you're upbeat. Trust me!

4. I love baking and cooking but its something I dont do that often. I should probably make more time to cook..

5. Most people don't know this, but I have a strange fear of sloths. I don't know where this fear came from but I can't look at photos of them or anything! Haha! I am very aware how weird this fear is.

Where are you from?
I am from a small, rural part of south-west Wales. Its a really beautiful part of the country and 10 minutes down the road is the coast and there are mountains on our doorstep.

What is your dream job?
I have a few 'dream jobs'. I would love to be a hairdresser or a nail technician but I also have a real love and passion for home decor and makeovers so I would love to buy and redecorate houses to sell on.

When and why did you start this blog?
November 2015. I have always wanted to start a blog or a youtube channel but I was never brave enough. But I finally decided I needed a new hobbie and I always wanted to blog so here we are. And as I mentioned earlier, I have a chronic illness and I have been stuck at home since I left school. I have m.e and fibromyalgia (also known as chronic fatigue syndrome) which is basically a chronic illness that makes you chronically fatigued and causes chronic pain, energy loss, brain fog, muscle weakness and many other symptoms. The list of symptoms literally goes on for ever and I have sufferd with most of them. I am currently having holistic treatment and that has been helping me drastically but I have had one of the worth years of my life this year with this illness. And I thought having a blog would be a good way to keep me busy without doing something that will physically drain me and something that I would enjoy.
