22 Lessons Ive Learnt In 22 years

ITS MY BIRTHDAY! For some reason the older I get the more excited I am for my birthday and today I turn 22 *queue Taylor Swift music* and to reflect on my 22 years on this earth I have written down 22 things Ive learnt in my lifetime. I did one of these for my 20th birthday and they are some of my favourite posts to read so heres to 22!

1. Its ok to admit you were wrong.

2. Coriander will never taste nice *vomits in mouth*

3. Sometimes its best to just shut your mouth.

4. But dont let anyone walk all over you.

5. You don't have to earn a lot of money to save money.

6. High School Musical will never get boring.

7. Neither will 1D music.

8. Coffee and dry shampoo are two of my biggest life savers.

9. Having manicured nails makes you feel ten times better.

10. It costs nothing to be nice.

11. When it comes to confidence "fake it until you make it".

12. Sometimes things just happen and its not because you're "unlucky" or "cursed" its just how life is.

13. Wearing retainers every night sucks but if you want to keep your straight teeth you need to grin and bear it.

14. Gluten is NOT my friend.

15. You don't need to have 20 friends to be happy. Having one or a handful of good friends is worth so much more than 20 bad friends.

16. Don't rant online. If you feel the need to rant or vent write it down in a diary or journal for only you to see.

17. Never over bleach your hair. Just dont do it.

18. Dogs are the greatest gift we have.

19. Legally Blonde is the greatest film of all time. Dont fight me on this!

20. I really suck at winged eyeliner and it really doesnt suit me.

21. Money cant buy you happiness but it can buy you concert tickets and thats basically the same!

22. Sausage dogs are the cutest!

  1. I agree with pretty much every single thing you have wrote about in this post. There is just something about having manicured nails that makes me feel like I have my life together!
