January Favourites

Finally, January is over! Like most people on twitter I feel like this month was never ending and I always end up feeling super down in January because Christmas is over and my siblings are back in school and then its just me and my dogs at home while my mum works. And the weather sucks!
But one thing I do love about January is the new favourites everyone for the new year. Ive got a few new favourites and they are all mainly Christmas gifts I received from friends and family.

Soap & Glory liquid liner
L'oreal used to do my favourite liquid eyeliners but unfortunately they aren't cruelty-free so I no longer use their products. So I was on a hunt for a new liquid eyeliner and I couldn't find one I liked until I remembered about a Soap & Glory one I used a few years ago that I loved. This is a felt tip liner which is the only one I get along with because I am messy when it comes to eyeliner and its so much easier to control. Its a super black formula, it doesn't bleed or fade throughout the day and its affordable.

Glossier Milky Jelly cleanser
I hauled this cleanser a few months ago after Glossier launched here and you can read that post here. Throughout the entire month of January my skin has gone super dry in my t-zone which is odd because I also have an oily t-zone but this is the only product thats helped to keep my skin feeling and looking hydrated without looking greasy. It cleans your face and removes makeup without drying your skin out. Once you've used it you don't get that tight feeling like most cleansers do and you almost feel like you've just used a moisturiser.

Milani Baked Bronzer
This was the first Milani product I ever bought and I fell in love with it instantly. Its a warm toned bronzer with a slight shimmer that gives your skin a lovely glow. I either use this as a bronzer/blush or as an all over bronzer and its makes me look healthy and sunkissed when in reality I look like a zombie because I havent seen the sun in what feels like years! Its extremely pigmented so be careful when you use it for the first time.

Lee Stafford Shine Spray
I love Lee Stafford hair products especially their Coco Loco haircare range but right now my favourite product is by far the shine spray. It leaves your freshly washed hair looking shiny without looking oily or greasy and I have a lot of fine hair that gets greasy very quickly so you can trust me that its not a greasy formula. I just spray a fine mist over my entire head of hair after washing, drying and straightening my hair to add some shine back to it. And heres a fun fact for you: Lee Stafford dont test any of their products on animals!!!

Lee Stafford Coco Loco Blow Dry and Go Genius Lotion
Another Lee Stafford product I have been loving is this blow dry lotion. Ive always skipped out on a blow dry lotion because I didnt think it would do much for my hair but I was so wrong. It conditions, strengthens, smooths, nourishes and helps repair damaged hair and it smells delicious and the scent lasts all day on your hair. Just apply a small amount on towel dried hair and dry your hair like normal and you'll have extra conditioned, smooth and yummy smelling hair.

Gucci "Bloom" eau de parfum
Im such a fan of floral scents so this one is right up my alley. Its a beautiful white floral jasmine scent and although it is quite a floral scent its one you can wear year round and not just in the summer months. I hinted to my mum for this perfume for Christmas and its by far my favourite Christmas gift I received. I actually have a review of it coming up soon on my blog so keep your eyes open for that post to hear some more on it.

Camila by Camila Cabello
This is my only lifestyle favourite of the month and possibly one of my favourite albums of all time! My fangirl side is about to burst out so you've been warned! Camila is such a beautiful singer and songwriter and she has the perfect balance of ballads and upbeat songs on her album. My favourites are 'All These Years' which has a Shawn Mendes hint to it, She 'Loves Control', 'Consequences' which is a beautiful piano ballad with some of the greatest lyrics Ive ever heard, 'In The Dark' and 'Into It' which is a catchy song about being into someone and she talks about consent! I love the whole album but those songs are the ones that really stick out for me. Its a 10/10 for me and I highly recommend it to everyone.

What are your favourites of January and have you listened to Camilas album yet?

  1. I have just bought a Milani Baked Bronzer and I am completely obsessed with it. I wasn't sure at first if it was going to have too much shimmer in it for me, but I cannot get enough of it!
