My Go To Perfumes

I'm a sucker for a nice perfume that preferably comes in beautiful perfume so I can put it on display in my room, I mean who isn't really?! Once I find a fragrance I love I usually end up using it everyday and I end up obsessed with it. Saying that though I am actually REALLY fussy when it comes to perfumes. I hate anything that has a spicy hint to it, I'm more of a soft, musk and vanilla gal. For years my favourite perfume was Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy, which is still a great scent may I add, but my taste in scents has definitely evolved since then. Every time I get a whiff of that perfume I get flashbacks to secondary school me with silver eyeshadow and my hot pink Motorola razr listening to the HSM soundtrack. CRINGE!

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau De Toilette
I had to start off this post with my all time favourite perfume. I LOVE Black Opium and its the one perfume I can imagine myself wearing for years to come. Its kinda become my signature scent actually. It has top notes of coffee, heart notes of Jasmine Tea and base notes Patchouli, White Woods and musk. Its a scent that is quite strong (but in a good way) and it lingers on your skin and clothes all day. Every time I wear this I get compliments on it and who doesn't like being told they smell nice?!

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau De Parfum
This scent is almost my favourite of all time but Black Opium just overtakes it for me only because I do find the scent lasts longer on me. I had never heard of this brand before let alone the fragrance but my mum bought it for me for Christmas and I love it. It has top notes of Mandarin, Bergamot, Pink Pepper and Saffron, heart notes of Roses and Jasmine Flowers and base notes of Amber and Vanilla.

Nina Ricci L'Eau Eau De Toilette
This perfume was a Christmas gift a few years ago from my Nana who has amazing taste in perfume and always smells incredible and she always finds fragrances I would never think to buy or usually go for. This perfume has top notes of apple, mandarin, grapefruit and heart notes of cherry and gardenia. The only negative I have with this fragrance is the bottle. I hate the texture of the glass bottle and the lid is super inconvenient and is difficult to put back on.

Hugo Boss Femme Eau De Parfum
This was another gift from my Nana for my 21st birthday. I had never seen or heard of this perfume before so I was really intrigued by it. First off, the bottle is really pretty and sleek and it smells lovely.  Its the ultimate feminine fragrance. It has top notes of Tangerine, Blackcurrant Buds, Freesia and heart notes of Oriental Lily and Rose Petal and base notes of Apricot.

If you could only wear one fragrance for the rest of your life which one would it be?

  7. Oh my goodness I used to have a Motorola Razr and thought I was the coolest thing ever! I love Black Opium, it's one of my favourite perfumes, and I've been meaning to get Flowerbomb as well. Other than that, anything by Jo Malone is always a winner! x
