5 Skincare Products To Try

Ive really been getting into skincare over the last few months. Ive never really been that interested in skincare, of course Ive used different skincare products for my spots and such (I wasnt raised in a barn geez) but Ive just never been into product ingredients, etc.

Pixi Glow Tonic
Initially I wasn't going to buy this because I have oily/combo skin type and any product with the word "glow" in its name would terrify me but after having so many people reassuring me that it wouldn't make my skin greasier I finally picked it up. Ive been using this product for around 4-5 months on-and-off now and I love it. I actually have a review of the Glow Tonic on my blog where I talk more in depth about my thoughts on this product (you can read that review here). But for a quick rundown its a 5% glycolic acid face toner designed to gently exfoliate your skin to reveal a healthier looking skin. Sounds pretty fancy doesnt it?!

The Body Shop Tea Tree liquid face wash
My skin decided to breakout like crazy a few weeks ago after I stopped taking the pill (it didnt react well with my body) and I couldn't find anything to clear my skin up so after a desperate search for a face wash that actually woks I remembered about The Body Shop tea tree line.

Lush Eau Roma Water toner spray
This is such a lovely face toner. Its a great refreshing toner thats a rose water based spray for sensitive skin to calm and soothe the skin and lavender water to balance and soften the skin. Ive used this a lot during the summer to refresh your face and especially through out our brief heatwaves we've had this year. You can actually use this as a makeup setting spray too so its a 2-in-1 product.

Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal detox mask
I love Sanctuary Spa as a brand. They are cruelty-free and have been for donkeys years and Ive only ever found one product of theirs that I didn't like and thats pretty good for me because I am a little bit fussy in general. This charcoal face mask is perfect if you have acne prone skin or even if your skin feels a bit congested after wearing makeup and you just want a little skin detox. It draws out impurities and leaves your skin feeling and looking clean and fresh and its a self-heating mask so it feels really luxurious. Its been my go to for a few months now- I like it a lot!

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
Holy moly! If you haven't tried this spot treatment you are seriously missing out on some good stuff here. Ive used soo many different spot treatments over the years and nothing has worked as well as this stuff does. Its two part spot treatment with a cream at the bottom and liquid on the top and all you do is stick a cotton bud into the mixture and then apply it to your spots. Its especially good at bringing out those horrible breakouts that seem to live under your skin for days before it actually breaks out into a whitehead. But DO NOT shake the bottle! The product needs to be separated in order to work.

What are some of your skincare faves?
