New Makeup Finds

I have been buying probably too much makeup lately and my bank account isnt very happy but at least I get to write some new blog posts. Hehee! BeautyBay.com is my problem, they keep emailing out different offers on makeup and then I end up looking through the whole website and then the next thing I know Ive just spend £60!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
I finally bought it guys! Ive been wanting to get this palette for way over a year now and I am so happy to finally own it. I have used it 3 times already and its now one of my favourite palettes. The colours are so pigmented and they blend out like a dream. My favourite shades are Raw Sienna and Antique Bronze. Ive yet to try any look with this palette other than a natural, everyday look but I can guarantee it will be great for a nice burgundy smokey eye.

Rimmel Insta Fix & Go setting spray
After seeing so many bloggers talking about this range I decided to pick up a few of their new bits. The first thing I picked up is the setting spray which was £6.99 for 100ml and can be used as a primer and setting spray. Its a really fine mist which is amazing and dries pretty quickly. Ive actually been using this over my Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray (which is triple the price might I add) for the last 2 weeks.

Rimmel Insta Fix & Matte powder
This is one of the best setting powders I have found for a long time. It really sets and locks in my foundation and concealer without looking cakey. My concealer under my eyes always ends up creasing through out the day but when I use this powder to bake for a couple of seconds my concealer never creases. The only negative I would say about this powder is its definitely not translucent like it says because it leaves you looking slightly white and ghostly so if you have darker skin than I do (and I am seriously pale) Im not sure if this would work for you.

Charlotte Tilbury Kissing lipstick in Nude Kate
This is my first ever CT purchase! Ive been wanting to try some makeup from CT for a really long time but it is a pricey brand so I wanted to get something I knew that I would actually use. I was torn between the Kim Kardashian West nude lipstick and the Kate one but I am so happy I chose the Nude Kate lipstick because it suits my paleness and doesn't wash me out. Its a really creamy formula and its the perfect nude for me and the packaging is to die for!!

Have you picked up some new makeup recently? Have you tried any of these products?

    1. I think they would really suit your blue eyes. Ive seen quite a few people with blue eyes using the cranberry shades and it looks beautiful on them!
