Spring Favourites

I am so happy we are finally into Spring, although as I write this it is rather cold outside and some places in England and Scotland did get snow today... Anyways, its spring and Im excited. We have already had a few lovely, warm days and Ive sunburnt twice already this spring!

Spring fashion kinda bugs me because its not warm enough to just wear a nice top and jeans but its too warm to wear a coat #britishweatherprobs. But other than that I actually love spring fashion. My wardrobe is rather bear right now, especially in my spring/summer section. I only had one pair of sandals so I was desperate to buy a new pair. These baby pink suede slides were only £24 from River Island and I am obsessed. I am a huge fan of the whole slide trend going on right now and I love baby pink so when I saw these I literally ran for them! They are surprisingly really comfy and they dont give me blisters which is a miracle because most shoes give me at least one.

Gingham is another huge trend at the moment. Every shop you walk into has at least 3596 items of clothing in a gingham print and I am a fan. I bought this button up peplum blouse from Primark a couple of weeks ago and it was really cheap. This paired with distressed skinny jeans and my pink slides has been my go-to outfit recently.

As for scents the Mark Jacobs Daisy Blush Eau de Toilette has been my favourite perfume to wear. I bought this bottle last year in duty free when I was going home from Mallorca and I hadnt really worn it that much before now. It comes in a really pretty floral bottle and its a beautiful, fresh, floral fragrance and I always get compliments when I wear it.

Ive spoken a couple of times on my blog about my love for the Maybelline Vivid Matte liquid lipsticks and I am still raving about them. Because it is springtime Ive been trying to brighten up my makeup a little more and Ive been reaching for a pink/nude lip rather than my go-to nude/brown. This one is in the shade 05 'nude flush' and its a pretty semi matte rosy pink. Its a semi matte finish which is great for me because my lips do tend to get really dry.

I could write about The Balm Cindy-Lou Manizer all day! It was my first highlighter and its my little baby. If I lost this I would have to buy a new one ASAP. Its a beautiful golden highlighter that can be worn for a subtle everyday look or you could layer it to get a really intense highlight. I personally prefer this on my skin when I have a layer of fake tan on but it does still look really pretty when I use a little bit on my pale skin.

What are some of your favourites for spring so far?
