The Autumn beauty edit

As we are well and truly in Autumn right now its a great time to share my favourite beauty items for this wonderful time of the year. Ive found some really great products this Autumn but Ive also been using some of my absolute favourite items that I have been using for years!
One of my favourite things about going into a new season is changing out beauty items and spicing up my makeup a little. And Autumn is definitely my favourite season for makeup looks because I love wearing deeper and darker lipsticks and more of a smokey eye.

Makeup
For a base, Ive been loving the Urban Decay All Nighter foundation and setting spray. Its a very high coverage foundation and it does last all day on your skin provided that you've used a face primer and set it with a makeup setting spray. The only down side is it can oxidise and that really bugs me! The All Nighter setting spray had been a life-saver of mine. Ive only had it for a couple of weeks and it has completely changed the overall appearance of my makeup. Under my eyes Ive been using the LA Girl pro concealer in the shade 'porcelain' which has a slightly salmon tint to it on my skin tone so it covers up my dark circles really nicely. Sometimes Ive been going on top of that with the Loreal true match La Touche Magique Illuminating concealer but for the most part I just leave it like that. For eyeshadow I have been grabbing the Urban Decay Chocolate bar palette almost everyday. It had the perfect everyday shades and a couple of more bolder shades like 'Candied Violet', 'Cherry Cordial' and 'Black Forrest Truffle'. For highlighter I think TheBalm Mary-Lou manizer will forever be my favourite. Its the perfect highlight without being too golden and it gives you the perfect glow without being shimmery. If you haven't tried it yet then you better get on it pronto! Most people, myself included love a bolder eyebrow in the A/W time. Recently Ive been using the Benefit Goof-Proof in the shade 2. Benefit really cant go wrong with their eyebrow products and this one is phenomenal! Its a creamy but waxy formula and its super easy to shape your brows with. I also love that it comes with a spoolie on the other end so you can just brush out your brows to blend in the pencil for more of a natural finish.

Lips
Because I love lipsticks so much I had to do a while section dedicated to my autumn faves. To prep my lips I always use the Lush Bubblegum lip scrub and I'll follow that upp with some Vaseline and that makes the perfect base for liquid lipstick. The new Maybeline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipsticks are great! Ive been using the shade 'Possessed Plum' the most because it just screams autumn to me. Another liquid lipstick thats perfect for autumn is the Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte liquid lipstick in 'Everything Nice'. For lipliners I think the best ones are by Max Factor. The shade 14 'Brown n Nude' makes the perfect base for those brown nudes everyone is so hyped about right now. Speaking of brown nudes the NYX soft matte lip creme in 'London' is perfect. Its the perfect balance between a brown and a nude and it doesn't wash you out at all and its so flattering on my very pale skin.

Skincare
If you have oily/combination skin then you will feel my pain here. My skin has gone really dry in places but I still get an oily t-zone and it actually drives me bonkers! So I don't always want to use a  heavier moisturiser or oil because it just doesn't help my oiliness out. If you know of any good products for combination skin then please let me know because Im really in a skin rut at the moment. But what Ive been doing is adding a few drops of bio oil or coconut oil to my moisturiser (which is the Clinque dramatically different moisturising gel) at nighttime to get extra hydration and it seems to be working so far. I also do that with my body creams or butters and my skin always ends up looking and feeling A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! This year I finally bought a bottle of Snow Fairy by Lush. The first time I used it I didn't get the hype at all but I take that back because now I am obsessed with it! I love that the scent lingers on my skin all day and my bathroom always ends up smelling like Heaven. I really want to try the body conditioner next!
