New Christmas bedding & feeling festive

Its November 2nd and I am feeling very festive- I can practically taste the mulled wine already! It may be a bit premature but I love Christmas and as I get older I actually get more and more excited about it and the whole build up to the big day.  I've had Christmas bedding on since October 20th and I am currently listening to Michael Bubl├ęs Christmas album.
"Crazy Christmas lady"? Yup thats me... and Ive started some of my Christmas shopping all though I have a lot more to buy and I have may have bought a *couple* of decorations already.

This adorable 'Bah Humpug' duvet set is from Asda and it only cost me £14! The top side has the pugs and kittens in Christmas hats and on the reverse side it had red and white stripes. I don't see the point in spending an arm and a leg on a Christmas bedding set because its only going to be used for 3 months maximum a year and Asda always bring out amazing, pretty and very festive bedding and the best part is they don't look naff. I was stuck choosing between four different sets because they were all so pretty. To be honest I could've bought each one and changed out my bedding every week. HAHA!

To go with my bedding I bought a Pug Christmas pudding cushion which was also from Asda and only costs £6. Its so adorable I want to keep it out year long! And you may notice that I have an obsession with pugs. My aunty and uncle have recently bought a "Jug" puppy. Her name is Magi and shes a cross between a pug and a jack russell. She is a beautiful little thing and I could spend all day playing with her although she does like to bite..haha! The joys of puppies. Thats all I need now is my own one named Alan under my Christmas tree *hint hint mum and dad*.

As a family we go all out for Christmas. Its always been that way and I love it. Ive always spent my Christmas day with my mum, dad, siblings and my mums family. We either go to my Grandparent for lunch or they come to ours for the day and we all drink too much wine and play board games and its a right hoot! We've recently started doing "crap and wrap" which is basically a secret santa between all of us but the max budget for it is £2 and the idea is to buy the tattiest and funniest gift possible. I always end up with a drinking game because Im not a big drinker. Im lucky because my youngest sibling is only 7 so he still gets presents from Santa and theres nothing sweeter than watching him go down stairs on Christmas morning to see if Santa Claus brought him any presents.

So prepare yourself for a load of more Christmas themed posts! Yippee!

Now Im going to go and watch Arthur Christmas and snuggle up under a fluffy blanket...
