A mini Urban Decay makeup haul

Monday, 31 October 2016

I had an unplanned trip into Debenhams on Saturday and I definitely didn't expect to spend £49 on just two items. I only wanted to go to the cafe to have a coffee but the new Urban Decay counter just looked too good to walk past! So I went for a nose and managed to buy just 2 new products Ive been wanting to get my hands on.

The only makeup items Ive ever had from Urban Decay has been the Primer Potion, Naked lipgloss and the Naked 2 palette and they are some of my holy-grail products. I dont actually know why I havent tried anything else from them sooner. All though everytime I go to buy the Naked concealer they dont have my shade and its so frustrating! But I had to hold myself back from buying pretty much everything at the counter.

Im going to start doing more mini makeup hauls because Im not one for buying makeup in bulk and I loved my mini maybelline haul from last month. You can see it here if you havent already.

All Nighter makeup setting spray- £22
This is a makeup spray you use after applying your makeup for a nicer finish and wear. Its a long-lasting, oil free spray thats paraben free and has temperature control technology. It claims to keep your makeup looking fresh for up to 16 hours without any melting or fading. Ive honestly wanted this makeup setting spray for at least 4 years and I honestly do not know what took me sooo long to buy it. You get 118ml / 4.0 fl oz which is amazing because it does come in a rather large bottle and hopefully it would last a good amount of months.
Ive already used this 3 times and I love it. My makeup has never looked so good! It takes away that powdery/cakey finish thats often left if you use lots of powder formulas like I do. I think it should be called a setting mist instead of a spray because it really does mist your face so you dont get those little spots of product all over your face.

All Nighter Liquid Foundation- £27
This is apparently one of the best long lasting foundations available right now so I just had to buy myself a bottle to see for myself. I have combination/oily skin and trying to find a foundation that lasts on my face for over 4 hours had always been a struggle until I tried the Estee Lauder double wear foundation, but the shade I have right now is way too dark for my ridiculously pale body. The All Nighter foundation is a long-wearing full coverage foundation thats waterproof, oil free and gives a matte finish. Its basically ticks all the boxes I want from a foundation. I have used it three times already with the All Nighter setting spray and I really like it. The only downside is it dries quickly so you have to work in sections to apply and blend it and it does oxidise slightly. I bought shade 1.0 if you were wondering.

I cannot wait to play around with these two new bits! Let me know if you'd bee interested in seeing a review of these two items once I test them out and use them a lot more.

  1. I've been tempted to buy the setting spray so many times and have always resisted but I think now is the time I need to make the purchase! It sounds amazing and since I work super long hours at work most of the time I reckon it's just the product for me x

    1. I dont really like it compared to my favourite foundation which is the Estee Lauder double wear but my skin is in a bit of a pickle right now so that probably doesnt help. I will definitely be testing it out more.

  3. I am such a fan of the All Nighter Setting Spray, it's been a holy-grail favourite of mine for years! As soon as I heard UD were launching a foundation along the same line, it went straight on my wish-list. Still yet to pick it up, but I can't wait to get my hands on it soon!
