A few of my favourite things- July 2016

Its August 1st today and you know what that means! Its time for another favourites post. Yay! Its my time to ramble. LOL!

These are actually some of my favourite posts to read and write. I think Ive said before but its a great way to  discover new products and its just fun to see what products and items other people have been enjoying.

I havent actually had a load of new favourites this month but I still thought it would be fun to share.

BEAUTY

This body scrub really is a "well earned treat". I have always been faithful to Soap & Glory when it comes to scrubs, ("flake away" is my favourite btw) but I ran out of one and the boots I went to didn't stock much S&G so I had to venture out into the world of scrubs. And this scrub had replaced my love of "flake away"!

Clean & Clear morning energising daily face wash
I use to use Clean & Clear skincare products religiously but then I started to try out some new brands and I kinda forgot about their products. I actually ran out of a face cleanser so I went into Boots wanting to try something new. I have tried every other cleanser by C&C but this one. First of all it smells delicious and Ive been all for products lately that contain vitamin c so I was sure I was going to like it. And I was right. I love that its so gentle on your skin because some cleansers with bursting beads can be really harsh and leave my skin red and blotchy but this does the opposite. It really does brighten my skin and wake me up in the morning.

Oh my giddy aunt! This perfume is actually to die for! I wrote about this fragrance a few months ago in my top 5 perfumes post. If you missed it you can read it here. I try not to use this perfume too often because it is rather expensive. Its £96 for 100ml so you dont want to be spraying this willy-nilly.
Its described as "full-bodied and opulent perfume with Harmonious sparkling top notes of mandarin and orange, middle notes of Sambac jasmine with a hint of orange tree, Catleya orchic, freesia and Centifolia rose and a woody base of Patchouli." Please make sure the next time you are in Boots or Debenhams to take a whiff of Flowerbomb- it wont disappoint!

This powder is a cult favourite! I have used this powder on and off for years now. Its so affordable and it does a great job. Im not too picky when it comes to setting powders but I can honestly say that its as good as- if not better than some high-end powders I have tried out. I always try to have one of these powders in my handbag for touch ups because it doesnt really matter if they crack because they are so cheap.

OTHERS

Pinterest
I wasnt sure if I should mention this or not because Pinterest is always a favourite of mine. But Ive been on Pinterest so much recently. Ive been constantly repinning and liking different recipes and home decor. The home decor category is actually my favourite part of the website. There are so many drool worthy homes out there and it just makes me want to redecorate everything!
Most of you probably already know that I love listening to Fifth Harmony as I may have mentioned it a couple of times. The 7/27 album is one of my favourite albums of the year. Some of my favourite songs have been "Squeeze", "Thats my girl" and "Dope". I would definitely give it a listen if you're into r&b meets pop music.
You can listen to the album here.

The fundamentals of caring
I only watched this movie because Selena Gomez is in it, like Im sure most people did. Well according to my twitter. But it actually turned out to be a really cute film I will definitely be watching again. This movie is exclusive to Netflix and is about a retired writer becoming a disabled teen's caregiver after a personal tragedy. When the two embark on an impromptu road trip, their ability to cope is tested as they start to understand the importance of hope and friendship. This film is full of sharp, witty humour and it actually really entertaining but it does pull at your heart-strings a couple of times. Selena Gomez plays a great part in this film. She's a rebellious runaway teenager who hitchhikes with the pair across America.

What are some of your favourites from July? Have you watched the fundamentals of caring?

Love, Becca
