Must Have Spring Makeup

A very happy goodbye winter! It is finally springtime! It has actually been sunny here the for last few days! *gasps*! And its finally time to bring out the pink lipsticks and coral blushers! Hooray! I've been sproosing up my makeup collection for spring and I thought it would be fun to share my essentials and favourite items with you all.

Seventeen contour kit- I have only recently got my hands on this and OMG it is amazing! By looking at pictures and seeing other peoples reviews of this palette, it looks almost identical to Nars Laguna bronzer. The packaging even looks the same. Seventeen have really upped their game recently with their products and the look. I love it!

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub- I am aware I talk about this lip scrub often but it really is great. My lips have been really dry and flaky lately so this has come in handy. Its especially good for this time of year when we tend to wear brighter lips.

Cindy-Lou manizer- I've spoken about this item a few times on my blog. (Its featured in my 'makeup for fair skin' post- click here). I accidently ordered this instead of the Mary-Lou manizer but it is still a gorgeous blusher/highlighter. I like to use this as a blush because my skin is pale enough, but I imagine it would look absolutely stunning as a pink based highlighter on deeper skin.

Mac coral bliss lipstick- This lipstick is the prettiest one I own. Its the perfect neon coral colour. Dont be daunted by the colour in the bullet because you can apply as little or as much as you want for your desired look.

Mac well dressed blush- my holy-grail blush! I love it. It's the only mac blush I own but it is gorgeous. Its the perfect baby pink blush for spring time.

Loreal brow plumper- this is hands down THE BEST brow product I have used. After hearing the beautiful Shaaanox go on about this brow plumper for months I finally gave in and tried it out and its amazing. You can wear it over your usual eyebrow pencil to keep your brows in place all day or for a  natural spring look, you can wear it alone.

Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation in 100 ivory- I am late on this hype train I know. But this is the most natural and healthy finish foundation I have ever tried. It even works with my oily/combo skin. Just make sure you use a primer before hand and it should last all day.

What are some of your spring makeup essentials?

  6. I'm so excited for spring and I'd love to try the cindy-lou as I also have pale skin so I think it would be a pretty blusher.
