La Roche-Posay Targeted Breakout Corrector

Thursday, 31 March 2016

I mentioned how much I wanted to try out this spot treatment in my skincare wishlist post. I had never found a spot treatment that actually worked. I had tried clean & clear, freederm- you name it I tried it. But after reading about this cream I just had to try it! And when I saw that it was on offer at Boots I knew I needed to get it.

Although my skin has gotten a lot clearer over the last couple of months, I still do get breakout- some of them are killer volcanoes! I have been using this on breakout for the past two weeks now and it is great.

According to the boots website, "effaclar A.I. is an intensive local skincare treatment that purges imperfections in-depth to accelerate their resorption and prevent residual skin marking:
Niacinamide stops the development of the breakout.
The piroctone olamine/glycacil combination purifies the seat of bacterial activity to resorb skin imperfections.
Micro-exfoliating LHA and repairing La Roche-Posay thermal spring water, activate the skin regeneration process."

Price- £9.50 for 15ml

Overall rating- 10/10

Whats your favourite spot treatment?
